Armani on Second Life
Giorgio Armani has opened his first store in the 3-D virtual world, “Second Life”.
This new virtual store, modelled on his flagship location in Milan, Armani/Manzoni, will allow viewers of “Second Life”, (around 9.688.168 residents from all over the world) to ‘live’ the experience of shopping there.
Armani has paired up with Saatchi & Saatchi Italia and Virtual Italian Parks for this venture.
This new island will be a fashion and style haven, comprising an Emporio Armani store, an Armani Jeans store, an Armani Perfume & Cosmetics area, an Armani Bookstore and an Armani Café.
True to the Giorgio Armani practice, he will also send an avatar of himself who will visit the stores on a regular basis.
